Healthcare providers in our plans are members of the GEMCare physician network. The
providers in GEMCare are known for quality patient-focused care. GEMCare is part of the CHW
health care system, putting us in a unique position to help our member physicians and
participating hospitals to work together more closely.
As part of being a member of GEMCare Health Plan, you and your family members must each
choose a primary care physician(PCP) from the GEMCare Health Plan Network. This physician
is responsible for all of your health care needs and will refer you to specialists when
medically necessary. When you or a family member need medical care, just call your PCP directly
to schedule an appointment
