Information About Medicare

Medicare & You 2009

Medicare & You 2009 is a document containing important information about what's new with Medicare, health plans, prescription drug plans, and member rights and protections. This allows members with Medicare to review coverage options and to be better prepared to enroll in a plan of their choosing. The document is available in both English and Spanish versions.

Each fall, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services mails a geographic-specific version of the document to all households with Medicare. In 2008, there are 59 geographic-specific versions with drug and health plan comparison charts for particular states or regions.
